Ed Lewis is a graduate of Grace College and has an MDIV from Grace Seminary. Ed spent 43 years in starting and developing ministries that stimulate evangelism and discipleship, especially equipping young adults. He helped develop leaders for foreign and US ministries and serves as Executive Director of CE NATIONAL a church effectiveness ministry. Ed lives in the inner-city and loves to see Jesus changing lives.
Jason has lived in inner-city Philadelphia for the past 15 years and helped establish the on-going ministry of Urban Hope Training Center and Community Church. He is a graduate of Grace College (B.A.) and Bakke Graduate University (M.A. in Global Urban Ministry). Jason is the Lead Pastor of Urban Hope Community Church.
James has lived in Philadelphia and served at Urban Hope for a total of 12 years. He graduated from Cairn University with a B.S. in Bible and B.S. Secondary Education and received his Masters in Education from Cabrini College. He taught High School history in the city schools for six years while leading youth ministry. He served overseas as directors of a children’s home in the Dominican Republic for 2 years. Now James serves at Urban Hope Training Center where he is the Lead Professor of SUM program.
For more than 30 years Rev. Michel Faulkner has dedicated his life to serving God and his community. Rev. Michel Faulkner grew up in Washington DC and was an all star football player at Virginia Tech. He later played one season with the NY Jets (1981-82). In 1987 he became the vice president fro urban ministry at Liberty University. After moving to New York, in 1988, he became involved with many city churches, community and government organizations. In 2006, Rev. Faulkner founded the New Horizon Church of New York in Harlem.
Pastor Kevin Mincey is currently the Senior Pastor at Winchester Grace Brethren Church located in Winchester, VA. He is the former Pastor and founder of Disciples Outreach Church in Washington DC. He attended Grace College and is a graduate of Washington Bible College. He grew up in the inner city of Washington DC. He has a strong heart for evangelism and outreach.
Rick grew up in North Philadelphia and organized one of the worst street gangs in the city’s history. He was sent to prison as a juvenile and certified as an adult. In a prison cell in 1989, Rick received a Bible Study with his name on it and God transformed his life. Rick has devoted his life to helping inmates and addicts come to know Jesus. He serves as the Director of Evangelism for Christian Life Prison and Recovery Ministries in Philadelphia.
Letitia Y. Williams
Letitia has a master of ministry studies from Grace college & theological seminary cum lade, master of business administration from the university of Phoenix and bachelor of arts in english from Wayne State University. She has 24 years of experience in human service roles. She served 15 years as a police chief and director of public safety at the University of Detroit Mercy, MI. Some of Letitia’s affiliations include Board Member at Large with Michigan Association of College Law Enforcement Administrators and Board Member of the Police Chiefs Advisory Board, Detroit Police Department in MI.
Miguel Omar Rodriguez was raised in inner city North Philadelphia,. He served as an infantryman for the United States Marines Corps. Miguel has seven years of experience in the mental health setting as a crisis prevention interventionist. Miguel serves at Urban Hope Training Center as youth leader, teacher, and a volunteer leader of homeless ministry.
